We were born naked so we should pray naked. The nude body is not something to be ashamed of. Our bodies give feed back to our energy body and spiritual body about the physical world. Our bodies are sacred so that means we should not be ashamed of it but we must nourish it. We must be conscious about what we put in our skin, in our mouth and our …energy fields. We must chose carefully…, what we chose to remember.

Jewels, braided designs, complex textile patterns, ancient tattoos, piercings, beads and make up were all ways to mark the ways of the tribe. It is important for us to know that there are many paths to the same destination. It is important to know the exact ways of your tribe, but at the same time it isn’t. That is the lesson we learn in the Americas. We are an ethnically diverse and mixed group that do not fit in one category. There are many ways to connect with ALL of our ancestors. They will walk with you but you must acknowledge all of them. Not just the ones you chose to claim. The government should not be the one’s putting you in a box of “Black” or “White”. That is a social construct. Most people are not in one category, that is the reality of the science of genetics and ancestory. It is time to open the THIRD eye. Sharpen your sight and stop being superficial.
